I finally got around to uploading Living Dolls (you know, that child-beauty-pageant documentary I can't stop talking about) in its entirety to YouTube. I wasn't going to, since it's a pain in the ass to cut down an 80 minute movie into 10-minute chunks and then upload all of that. But you know, it sucks dick that it isn't commercially available and it's probably only fair that people should be able to see what I keep going on about (it really is one of my all-time favorite movies). Uploading it was my civic duty, really. (And how 'bout those recent events?) No idea if this will end up getting taken down, so watch it while you can. Access it by going to my YouTube videos page. Or watch it via the individual links.
I thought embedding all nine videos would look tacky. This is a class joint. Plus, this is a documentary about about prepubescent girls who routinely have their hair dyed, their eyes lined, and who wear mouth appliances to disguise tooth gaps. Clearly, there's no room for tacky.
I have to say that after having to cut these, meticulously and repeatedly going back and forth between frames, "Quit throwing yourself!" has been looping in my head all day (at a very level volume, I assure you).
