After all, it is spring. I get excited and jump around like this, too.

my cat does that when we change the bed. it's so cute, he gets under the sheet and rolls into his back, and you can see his little toes pokin' the blanket.
I have to say that I like Winston with a little fluff on his bones. His winter coat evens out his cute, round head. God, I love him. I think you need an all sneezing montage. (Or at least a gif).
One of my kitties also turns into a whirlwind of frolic when we're changing the bedsheets. And while I think my furry children are some of the cutest creatures ever to exist, I must admit that Winston's cuteness outdoes them.
I have one of those projection wall clocks - and I move it around the walls at night when my cat is being whiny... nothing funnier than your cat running into walls. Not to mention it tires him out and I can get some rest.
My cat, Pai Mei, loves fitted sheets! My bed always ends up having a feline tumor moving around, until he decides to pop out from underneath the sheets!
you should see what happens when my man changes my sheets lol
WAY off topic (but didn't want to post "spoilers" on the last ANTM thread)- and in hopes of you seeing this Rich, I hope you wet yourself the way I (and many others) did last night... you're going to have a field day!!!
Just 3 mini-micro-requests in case you wouldn't think of it...
Tyra-Mail - you've got Dominique in a mud mask looking ever so "pretty" (party) - that whole "roll?" thing is worthy of a soundbite
So is Whitney's "Anya... so blonde"
But I will have your next lovechild if you could do a looping gif of Anya falling out of the van (I LOVE girls falling down and we haven't gotten that in AGES)... I can just see her go whoops, whoops, whoops, whoops (shit, gonna wet myself thinking about it).
Send the love to the entire family there
And thank you for considerating me and my request you biracial butterfly you
Making the bed is pretty much the only time I can get one of my cats to be 'active'...there's something about the noise of rustling sheets and duvet covers that's like catnip to him!
Thrash that tail baby! Thrash it! Do cats think there are lots of mice running around under the clean sheets? Haven't there been brain studies on cats when they're all hopped up that suggest their brainwaves are similar to people tripping on LSD? If so, the excitement over moving sheets might be explained.
Winston just wants to make sure that you do the corners hospital style and not some willy nilly tuck under.
Cat's are like that. Mine likes to kneed all the sheets and pillows to make sure they are the proper softness.
Ha! Awesome video. My late kitty used to pause to lick himself in the middle of frenzied activity, too - rather endearing. Winston is looking as gorgeous as ever :)
Your cat is too cute! My cats jump around like that too. What is on the bedspread? Thanks to watching this, I now feel the need to pull out my "Here Come The Lords" CD.
Your cowboy sheets pretty much stole the show from Winston. I am enchanted by them.
Can we please have a picture of Rudy on the cowboy sheets? I feel that they would complement his more rugged persona.
I heart winston. i really do. but i have to say the best thing about this video was finding out his owner (a grown ass man) sleeps on sheets designed for ten year olds.
b) Winston fills me with joy. I play a similar frolic-inducing game with my monster-cat, only we call it "Taco Town." I don't know why. I think I was trying to make a kitteh-blanket taco...

Omg how cute is your duvet cover! My dog 'helps' me make the bed, but no where near as well as Winston.
Posted by: Mel | April 23, 2008 at 08:59 PM
Fatty Jones plays like this too: Pounce! Pause for a second to look around, wildly confused. Lick paw nonchalantly.
Also, Winny is looking very slim in this video. You chose such flattering lighting!

When you're under the covers, trying to shift positions does he launch himself at your feet and sink his fangs into your toes?
My kitty used to do that. It was inexplicable, really.
Maybe millions of years ago, cats and duvets were natural enemies...or something.

Meh.
I'm feverishly waiting for your review of "Hard Candy"... It's good shit. Better than "Confessions." Her best in a good while.

I didn't know he could move that fast :)

Leave him a little fluffy this summer!

I get excited on the brown sheets, too, Fuck, that sounds wrong.
Posted by: ger | April 23, 2008 at 11:58 PM
why must cats obsess about the bed making? I am sure many a kitty has been lost under a fitted sheet.

I like how he randomly pauses in the midst of jumping to lick himself.
Because proper grooming is VERY IMPORTANT!

Does Winston like to chase lights too?

I don't know what I'm more excited about: the new Winston being adorable as always vid or the fact that you actually have cowboy sheets. Tough call.

Cowboy sheets rock!
Yay - feeding my Winston fix!

What is it about cats that they hate a freshly made bed. My cat also tries to foil my attempts to change my sheets.

OK fess up - did you buy the cowboy sheets to match Winnie's coloring?
Love that cat. Can never get enough.

Good timing, Rich.
I had to put my cat Linus Magoo "to sleep" last night. Like, forever to sleep.
He had many traits like Winston, including very advanced randomness.
Thanks for the happy cat vibes to balance out my sadness.
Please give Winston and Rudy between-the-ears kisses from Linus Magoo of Brooklyn.

Winnielicious, as always. Winston luvs him the cowboy sheet, Rich, don't take away the cowboyz from Winnie.
And Tanith, you have my deepest sympathy.
