ANTM addendum

So, I messed up, as a few have pointed out. Readers Amy Z., and Will A., both emailed me screen shots of instances of crying from the last ANTM episode that I missed -- silly of me to ever think an episode of ANTM could have aired without a single tear spilled. My DVD drive is actually down right now (a new one's coming tomorrow), so I can't take these myself right now. I'll just post the ones they sent me to update the Crying Count (sans commentary).

I don't point this out to brag or whatever, but just to show how strong her character is to not only go out of her way to say something nice to someone who's so routinely...adversary, but also to adopt a bitchy nickname I doled out. Guess who's my favorite ANTM contestant of all time, now! Ann Markley, you've been replaced!

But really, I could only be happy with such a note considering the good-natured source. I wouldn't assume that most of the girls on the show could laugh at themselves so easily and I would encourage any of them (including my beloved Amishole) to avoid anything I have to say. My bullshit is based only on the whittled-down sketch of a character that we see on TV, my sense of punishment for those who are so unwise as to enter the exponentially absurd world of modeling competitions and whatever complete and utter nonsense I can squeeze out of my rapidly deteriorating brain (see above...and abover). Really, STOP READING NOW. It freaks me out a lot.
